Villa Locatelli Pinot Bianco DOC Isonzo 2013

The 17th Century Villa Locatelli is the home of the Tenuta di Angoris. It's a Villa where grace and elegance meet hospitality and warmth, and it currently welcomes guests for tours and special events. Its illustrious 370-year history includes an era when the wines that came from the estate were served in the royal courts of Europe.

Pinot Bianco is a genetic variation of Pinot Noir and is often confused with Chardonnay.

Origin: Cormòns, Isonzo DOC, Friuli.

Aging: Not oak aged.

Alcohol: 12.5%.

Tasting Notes: Straw yellow colour of medium intensity. Fruity aromas of golden apples, pineapple and apricots, white flowers, and a pleasant stony minerality. Palate: Dry and light bodied, elegant and well-balanced.

Food Pairing: Ideal on its own or with light appetizers, vegetable and cream soups, simple poached fish dishes and light cheeses.

Serving temperature: 8 to 9 °C.
