Tasting Notes: A very pleasant, gentle, easy-drinking wine. Medium bodied with a bright ruby colour, red fruits on the nose, strawberry and cherry flavours in the mouth, good acidity, and a long finish.

Sicilia IGT Nero d’Avola Barrique 2009
Tasting Notes: Dark ruby colour with violet hues. The nose has liquorice, smokiness, and red fruit aromas. On the palate you can taste blackcurrant and cherry. It is a full-bodied wine, very well balanced, with a persistent, long finish. It's a lovely wine on its own and a fantastic pairing for traditional Italian dishes.
